Conservancy, a non-profit organization that produces, preserves,
exhibits, and provides financial and consulting support to dozens of
American independent films and is Assistant Manager of The Film Desk, a boutique film distribution company based in NYC that re-introduces international classics to audiences, primarily in new 35mm prints.
Adair has produced Alex Ross Perry’s Videoheaven, Tony Stone's Peter and the Farm, and Matías Piñeiro's Hermia & Helena, after Shannon Plumb’s Towheads with Alex Orlovsky and Hunter Gray. He Executive Produced Bingham Bryant & Kyle Molzan’s For the Plasma and Prashanth Kamalakanthan’s Have a Nice Life.
writingAdair has served as Editor-at-Large for
Mexico at Asymptote Journal and his writing & translations have appeared in Latin American Literature Today, Cheap Pop, Waxwing, perhappened mag, BrooklynRail, and The Hopper.
In 2022, Random House Mondadori published an anthology of the poetry of
Guadalupe 'Pita' Amor, co-edited by Adair. He is a founding member of the Mexico City-based translators' collective, Falsos Amigos, which published Mundos Alternos, the first of three volumes of
